Corli was amazing, and I wish I went to her earlier in my pregnancy.

Her guidance and treatment was superb. She has a heart of gold and is so gentle with you. She makes you feel at ease and takes your feelings into consideration.

Corli also helped me to figure out what was wrong when nobody else could, and we fixed the problem with her treatment.

She encouraged both myself and my husband every step of the way. Her knowledge and caring heart helped us to have a normal delivery which we are extremely thankful for.

In our opinion, you will struggle to find someone better.

I had a natural birth with my first baby last year and visited Corli at Femme Health Physio to assess my pelvic floor and core strength before I could start exercising. Corli has a beautiful bedside manner and she radiates compassion and empathy in her physiotherapy treatment. Her knowledge and passion for pregnancy, birth and postpartum stretches far and beyond physiotherapy and she truly played a pivotal role in my postpartum recovery. I recommend her to everyone!

Can just recommend seeing Corli!! From pre-birth prep, post-partum assistance and later helping to assist scar healing, leaking and general abdominal discomfort, she does it all with excellence and great care. You feel heard, understood, valued and helped! Cannot recommend her services enough! Helga J

I’m deeply grateful to Corli for the pivotal role she played in my second birth. I wish I had seen her from the beginning. She’s very hands-on, informative and passionate about women’s positive birth experiences. I learned so much but what was especially helpful was learning how to breathe, the myths regarding pushing and how to position my body to make optimal space for baby. I went into my birth much more confident and didn’t need any stitching! I highly recommend that every mom-to-be go and see her.

Hi my name is Fikile Maodi. I gave birth to my son in 2023 April, the birth was a vaginal birth and by the time we arrived at the birthing facility, I was fully dilated and there was not even time for the waterbirth I had planned for my whole pregnancy. I lied down and poof my beautiful baby boy arrived. Naturally All sorts of pains overtook me after birth and I recovered from the stitches and the rest, but after 2 months I started noticing that I had this pain that just won’t go, whenever I sat done and would stand up, there was this excruciating pain on my bums, sometimes it was unbearable it would take me minutes to stand up from a sitting position, but I associated it with long periods of time sitting and feeding my son, during the night and day, so I continued disregarding the pain and really having no idea what could be wrong with me.

I also noticed that there was a bulge poking out in my vagina. While visiting physio for my son, I told the physio about my pain and he checked me, i had some temporary relief for two days maybe then the intensity of the pain came back. I lived with the pain for a whole year until I started doing some research on what could be wrong with me, driving was unbearable, sitting down for a church service was painful, I just avoided sitting down most times, i would be on my feet or lie down.

My midwife recommended Corli and that’s when the quality of my life changed, Corli knew exactly what I was going through like she was in my body, she was patient and so thorough with the information, she took me through all the steps with so much care. Pelvic floor physio changed my life, there’s not nearly enough information on what postpartum challenges women face. had I not enquired I would still be suffering with the pain. after my first session I noticed a vast difference and after a few sessions I am at a much better state. There is still a tat bit of discomfort but I have the knowledge and the tools to manage it. Even after relapsing after severe diarrhoea followed by constipation, I was able to book an appointment and we quickly got me back on track. I feel like my case was a bit extreme , but my take from the whole situation is  that it’s vital for women to see a physio for postpartum care, our bodies go through so much.
